While i admittedly am by no means a forum regular (this might be my first post in 7 years of playing), i thought this topic of conversation was something to throw my two cents in.
CCP Manifest, if you want help condensing the problems down into bullet points for a meeting i might be able to help you out with that as well as any comments i personally have after each bullet(if you make it this far cause man thats alot of posts in this threat lol). That being said please let us know when you can expect a meeting or dev-blog of these and other issues you may find to take place so that we may know when to expect answers.
1) High Noble Exchange prices. --->Im assuming the high cost of current vanity items is mearly to test the waters and see the publics opinion of the prices and adjust accordingly (overpricing rather than underpricing and creating a PLEX market nightmare).
2) [and this is really the more imporant issue] the leaked newsletter. --->we ovbiously know its true and confirmbed by CCP Pann previously, and while alot of the forum playerbase (not to be confused with ALL the playerbase) is irritated and disgruntled by this 'misinformation', i can understand it was a newsletter of upcoming ideas and topics for thought and directions that may (or may not) be headed in. Be that as it may, the idea of paying for items (even inderectly through purchasing PLEX with ISK to buy AUR) that directly affect the outcome of a battle and/or industry is greatly disheartening IF (big if) that game already has a pre-existing subscription method. Since EVE is not free-to-play i strongly advise against such an action.
3) The option to have new Captains Quarters disabled for the old station. --->in my humble opinion CQ was released too soon (Executus!), of course hind sight being 20/20 and all that jazz. Still i think much of this 'fire' can be extinguished if you release a patch that impliments a button (perhaps just above the UNDOCK button on the bottom left or maybe a checkbox before you login under your name/password that determines if you want the quarters active or not. Since this is all stored clientside it shouldnt infringe on network bandwith or server storage/load. That way people who want to/are able to can enjoy the current CQ and those who cant dont have to try.
4) Players are concerned that CCP (development) is spending too much time on Walking-in-space and AUR items and avoiding gameplay problems. --->I acknowledge that you only have so many people that can do so much, and as EVE is an evolving game you have to pick and choose your battles (then again ive never worked for a gaming company so i may be wrong, who knows! but im just saying here), that being said while i like the idea of walking in space stations and seeing my avatar, interacting with shopkeepers ectect. Doing it for the sole purpose of doing it, or solely to attract a new player base, might be a little foolish. Im sure youve gotten flak over the past few years for taking so long just to get to this point, but honestly i think we were all ok that it was taking awhile cause we understand EVE is a space pew-pew game first and foremost...so we wouldnt mind if you put the bulk of your team on fixing gameplay mechanices, ships, and other space stuff and a smaller team on walking in stations.
5) Players are concerned that AUR payments are going to other MMO's in development. -->I hope not.
in conclusion, There are alot more issues than the afformentions of course, but these are the primaries that ive seen most commonly on the forums. I hope you make it this far and this helps you out a little rather than just reading spam of "omg im quitting" and "you broke my game qq" abd also "answer this leak nao!!11!". i figure (or hope) a cooler head explaining things helps a little. Dont get me wrong, there are things i'm upset about (no capital mining barge for 0.0 only similiar to rorq but mines) cause i enjoy mining but again...just me and my two cents here. =)
